It’s the end of the month. If you don’t use some credits today, they’re gone. Here’s a quick-hit checklist for tonight, plus what to calendar for Q4 (by 12/31). I’m sticking to what’s live on issuer/partner pages—not rumors. A fuller roundup is on Dan’s Deals; this cuts the noise and tells you what to do now.
Do these tonight (monthly credits don’t wait)
Amex Platinum (personal)
- Uber Cash: $15 loads monthly—use it on a quick Uber Eats order or a short ride.
- Digital Entertainment: up to $25/month on select services (YouTube TV/Premium, Hulu/Disney bundle, Peacock, NYT/WSJ, etc.). If you’re enrolled, put a charge through today.
Amex Gold
- $10 Dining: Grubhub/Seamless, Cheesecake Factory, Five Guys, Wine.com, Goldbelly (enrollment needed). Easiest move: $10 pickup via Grubhub.
Amex Business Platinum
- $10 Wireless: Put an eligible wireless bill charge through now (enrollment required).
Chase Sapphire Reserve (consumer)
- DoorDash: $5 restaurant code + two $10 non-restaurant codes each month (apply at checkout; they don’t roll).
- Lyft: $10/month ride credit—use it or lose it.
Instacart (Chase tie-ins)
If you activated benefits, place one order to burn this month’s credit: Ink Business = $20, United up to $20, most co-brands = $10. The credit applies when the enrolled card is selected; it counts toward groceries/retail, not tips/fees/taxes.
Lock these in by Dec 31 (Q4 / second-half buckets)
Amex Platinum (personal)—new 2025 perks worth real money
- Resy dining: $100 per quarter → use by 12/31 (GCs at some restaurants work).
- lululemon: $75 per quarter → use by 12/31 (e-GCs work).
- Hotel credit (FHR/The Hotel Collection): $300 Jul–Dec (two-night min. at THC; prepaid via Amex Travel).
- Plus $200 airline incidental, CLEAR up to $209, $50 Saks (Jul–Dec), $120 Uber One (terms apply).
Amex Business Platinum (key business buckets)
- Dell: $150 Jul–Dec + an extra $1,000 off $5,000 Jul–Dec (separate enrollments).
- Hotel credit: $300 Jul–Dec (FHR/THC prepaid).
- Indeed $90/qtr, Hilton $50/qtr, Adobe $250/yr (after $600), Wireless $10/mo. (All require enrollment; check the benefit center before you spend.)
Chase Sapphire Reserve—new structure, bigger buckets
- The Edit hotel credit: $250 for Jul–Dec 2025 (two-night prepaid via The Edit; you can book a future stay as long as it charges now).
- Dining “Exclusive Tables”: $150 for Jul–Dec.
- StubHub/viagogo: $150 for Jul–Dec.
- Annual fee: now $795; new benefits rolled out Oct 26, 2025 for existing cardholders.
Instacart: what’s real, what’s not (avoid bad advice)
- Chase Ink Business (Cash/Unlimited): 3 months Instacart+ + $20/month through 12/31/2027. Terms include “Only one offer per household.” Don’t expect to stack multiple Ink offers on one household for mega credits. Plan on $20/month per household account tied to an enrolled Ink.
- Chase United cards: Instacart+ + up to $20/month through 12/31/2027 (card-specific). Enroll on Instacart’s United page.
- Chase co-brands (Hyatt, IHG, Southwest, Aeroplan, BA, etc.): Instacart+ + $10/month through 12/31/2027.
- Mastercard promo (personal & debit): 3 months Instacart+ + $10 off your second order each month, if activated by 1/31/2027. One eligible Mastercard per account; make this a separate order from your Chase credit.
Bottom line: On a single household/account, a reliable setup is $20/mo (Ink or United) + $10/mo (Mastercard—on a second order). Ignore “$100/month from one account” claims; that’s not how the posted terms are written.
Set a simple routine so you stop wasting value
- On the 28th of every month: burn Amex monthly (Uber, Dining/Entertainment, Biz Plat Wireless), CSR DoorDash/Lyft, and Instacart. Don’t gamble on last-day posting or pending charges.
- By 12/31: finish Amex Platinum (Resy $100, lulu $75, Hotel $300) and CSR (The Edit $250, Dining $150, StubHub $150). If you’re stuck, use prepaid/e-GC workarounds where terms allow.
The blunt truth
Run this playbook every month and you’ll capture guaranteed value and stop chasing YMMV stories. Use the credits you can repeat. Calendar the rest. Miss a month? That’s free money left on the table.
